Ephesians 4:32
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
This is a very special verse in which I often use the acrostic BYKOTA in my signature block. Also the name has been used for the naming of an Adult Life Group and Bible Study. The acrostic is also a great one to use on vanity license plates. When someone asks you for what it means you now have an open invitation to witness.
(How does our gender and/or sexuality reflect the image of God?)
The marriage relationship (Gen 2:18-25). God’s design in marriage is that the man and the wife become one flesh. It is a perfect compliment to each other as the image of God. It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him – but none was found.
16 of 19 times helper is used in OT, it is used as a reference for God. Man and woman equally bear the image of God. Helper does not mean subservient.
Key Point also the Image of the Church and relationship as bride of Christ. Rev. 21:9
